The Research Division is the academic core of FIHCR, dedicated to advancing rigorous, evidence-based research on the history and civilisational heritage of India. Through original research, publications, conferences, lectures, and collaborative projects, the Division seeks to deepen historical understanding and encourage informed public engagement with the past.
Our work spans a wide range of themes, bringing together scholars from different disciplines to examine historical questions through careful research and critical inquiry. We are committed to supporting scholarship that is grounded in primary sources, informed by diverse perspectives, and relevant to contemporary academic discourse.
The Research Division collaborates with universities, archives, and research organisations across India to create opportunities for joint research projects, conferences, publications, and knowledge exchange. These collaborations strengthen the ecosystem for historical and cultural research and contribute to a deeper understanding of India's civilisational legacy.
