Pushyamitra Keshav Joshi is a doctoral scholar, innovator, and interdisciplinary researcher with academic training in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and History. A three-time patent holder and recipient of the National Youth Award from the Government of India, he has been associated with several national and international research and youth initiatives. His scholarly interests encompass Indian history, with a particular focus on Maratha history, political history, and the evolution of Hindu kingdoms, institutions, and civilisational traditions. His current research explores Devgiri and the Yadava/Seuna Empire, examining its historical, political, cultural, and civilisational significance within the broader narrative of Bharat’s past. His interdisciplinary approach seeks to connect historical scholarship with contemporary perspectives on society, governance, and nation-building, while contributing to a deeper understanding of the country’s rich intellectual and civilisational heritage.
