Dr Khangai brings a rich and varied background—having served in the Indian Air Force, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, and RTM Nagpur University—alongside deep academic expertise in Indian religious traditions. His doctoral work focused on the Marathi Bhakti tradition, and his current research explores the Mahabharata.

At FIHCR, Dr Khangai will be a Senior Research Fellow for 2025–26 for his project, Ecodharma in the Mahabharata. He will be working closely with our Research team over the coming year.
