Our project focuses on an in-depth study of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar’s visionary leadership life and legacy as the 18th-century ruler of Indore. Reanowned for her effective governance, social reforms, sustainable development, and revival of cultural and spiritual heritage, her reign offers timeless lessons in administration and nation-building. The current year (2025) marks the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar.

 The Madhya Pradesh State Government’s Department of Culture is supporting this project. The outcome of this project will be a well-researched book on her life and leadership. This work will be accessible to Indians from every section of life. We will also produce multimedia content which we will release eventually.
